The Heron is a well-equipped, extremely well kept, 65 foot motor-yacht designed to carry her guests in classic comfort and safety. Her interior leaves you wanting for nothing. The main saloon is very spacious and has plenty of comfortable seating with large picture windows on both sides. Imagine lounging on the couch by the wood stove, watching the scenery glide by, accompanied by the aroma of gourmet meals being prepared in the galley. Lots of deck space allows plenty of room to launch the shore boat or sea kayaks, land one of those giant halibut, enjoy a sunset dinner or just relax and watch the scenery. The engine- a John Deere new in '06 - is on a v-drive system allowing it to be mounted far back in the stern. This and sound deadening insulation gives a very quiet ride compared to most vessels. She is built of yellow cedar planking on 2" x 3" oak framing on 12" centers with yellow cedar 3" x 4" beams on varying centers. The interior bulkheads are constructed to provide open ventilation throughout the hull. Turn key for either chartering or live-aboard.

Boarding on the covered aft deck you enter the full width spacious saloon, the galley complete with stainless steel countertops is forward on the starboard side and is also open to the saloon and dining area. Directly across from the galley is the a small stateroom with over/under single bunks. Forward of that is a stateroom with 4 berths and a head. You can access the wheel-house from the forward stateroom and the saloon via stairs. Aft of the saloon are 2 more staterooms each with a large double berth and one with the ability to put a child's berth over. A full head with a shower is located aft. All quarters have carpeted floors and are trimmed with teak. The cabinets have whale cutout details in doors and the heads have custom sinks with ceramic handles, custom details here and there throughout. The dining table seats 8 comfortably. 14 cu ft bench freezer on the boat deck, 32 VDC custom built-in freezer in the galley. Tons of storage through out this vessel. This vessel can easily accommodate 12 adults.

 Engine and Mechanical:
New turbocharged John Deere 6068, new exhaust and marine gear all installed in 2006. The full stand up engine room has a large work bench with lots of storage as well as a generator fully enclosed in a sound insulated box. The main is fully accessible from every angle. The 20 gal hot water heater is located aft as well. There are 4 steel fuel tanks holding a total of 1200 gallons. She also holds 600 gallons of fresh water in two 300 Gallon tanks. The engine room is absolutely spotless with everything stowed for easy access as well as safety.

Full slate of electronics includes (2) 6" compasses, 1 VHF ICOM IC-M120, 2 handheld VHF's, Garmin Plotter, GPS 128, Laptop computer running Nobeltec navigational software, Furuno radar, model 1832 w/ 24 mile range, a Furuno depth sounder model FCV-667 color video, ships clock & barometer, Sony stereo with speakers in the saloon and on deck as well., 20" Mitsubishi color TV, Hampton bay automatic dehumidifier
