This 22-foot Pacific Skiff work skiff, built by Pacific Boats, is a heavy-duty, all-welded aluminum vessel designed for stability and high payload capacity. Construction and hull design;
-Rugged aluminum construction: The skiff uses strong, marine-grade aluminum alloys, with thicker material for the hull bottom (1/4") and topsides/deck (3/16").
-Semi-monocoque design: It features a naval architect-designed semi-monocoque construction. This approach uses the alloy plate itself as the frame, providing exceptional stiffness and strength while eliminating internal stringers to maximize usable deck space.
Heavy-duty fendering: For protection during heavy work like pushing and towing, the skiff is equipped with a heavy-duty, 4-inch D-rubber fendering.
