  • New in Wrangell. 1985 38' Mel Martin Combination fiberglass sternpicker. 3rd owner has owned her since 1990 and has used her for the SE drift gillnet fishery and for the SE Spot Prawn fishery.

    Powered with an economical single John Deere 201HP 6068 TFM 75. Engine was installed in 2007 and has 13,496 hours. 3.2 GPH at 8 knots. She has a 800 mile range on a full load of fuel, 400 gallons.

    Great boat for the fisherman who wants to gillnet, and fish some halibut or black cod IFQ, pot fish for crab or shrimp. The low profile of these boats along with their heavy hand laid fiberglass layup makes them a great boat for exposed waters.

    She has a upgraded Furuno electronics package with a Furuno satellite compass, the Furuno ZT Touch MFD, (2) Furuno FCV-1150 fish finders, and a Comnav commander auto pilot with Accusteer.
