Interior:

From the aft deck, enter the main entertaining salon through the sliding door. Forward is the large U-shaped galley. A very large entertaining space greets you with beautiful teak and spruce interior and large windows soaking in the scenery. There is ample seating for numerous guests. Forward of the salon, the large U-shaped galley has oodles of counterspace and cabinetry for storing food and dishes neatly away. There is a Princess Seward three-burner range, a GE convection microwave, a refrigerator and freezer and a Braun Trans Compactor. Up in the pilothouse, you have a nicely-equipped navigation center and a vast view out of the six-panel windshield and an excellent view over the bow. There are doors which open to the port and starboard side decks, which really helps with docking. Behind the captain s chair, well within conversation range, is an L-shaped settee which seats several adults, has a small cocktail table, and converts into a pilot berth. Sliding side windows let in some nice fresh air on those lovely spring and autumn days. An AMSEC safe is tucked under the helm. From the pilothouse, a staircase takes you forward and down into the berthing area with two nice staterooms. A washer and dryer are tucked in a cabinet on the way downstairs. The roomy master stateroom has a large walk around bed, TV, and large private head with enclosed shower. The second head, which is accessible from the forward cabin as well as pilot house, offers plenty of room, counter space and storage options. For your on-board water needs, she has two stainless steel water tanks which hold a total of 300 gallons of fresh water and a Sea Recovery reverse osmosis with UV sterilizer water maker Thorr has a lot of unique and completely amazing features to her which make her extremely comfortable as a long-range cruiser, including heat and air conditioning system.

On Deck:

Come aboard Thorr through her transom door off the swim deck. The bow has vast standing room, with room for chairs or sun tanning, you name it. The flybridge has a bimini top and large cushioned seating area, which provides for an amazing view while anchored or crusing on sunny days. A 1,000-lifting davit is on the port side of the flybridge, which makes launching the skiff easy. If you use her for fishing, or even for entertaining, the cockpit sink can be quite useful. A electric capstan, mounted inboard on the transom, makes snugging dock lines easy even in a cross wind.

Engine and Mechanical:

The low-hour propulsion package on this beauty includes her John Deere-based Lugger model #L6108 250 horsepower diesel keel cooled engine, ZF marine gear box, 2.25 stainless steal shaft, 33 x 26 LH bronze four bladed prop, and line cutter. For back-up propulsion there is a Yanmar model #3GM30FV 27 horsepower wing engine, with 1.25 stainless shaft, new cutlas bearing, and two bladed folding prop. The large, clean engine room also houses a 20KW Northernlights generator. Four FPR fuel tanks provide 1,400 total gallons of fuel, which make long distance voyages very attainable.

Electrical and Electronics:

Thorr has a great array of navigation electronics, which begin with her Leica MX 400 professional DGPS navigator at the bridge. She also has other electronics features, including a Simrad Autopilot AP 22 with slave units at the flybridge, and a Garmin plotter and depth sounder. B and G network depth, speed and wind displays are fitted at both the flybridge and the pilothouse stations. Spotlight controls are at both helms. The flybridge has a Furuno radar, a Standard Horizon VHF, and other items like a Ritchie compass, Furuno radar dome and radar scanner, antennas and such. There is a Garmin Chirp ClearVu through hull. She has two 12-volt defog fans at the pilothouse helm and an EPIRB on the back deck. The House Bank of Eight 8-D Batteries and Xantrex inverter are set to meet all your power needs.
