The classic boom and tackle launches and loads this craft, which has a four horsepower Yamaha kicker. A ladder accesses the cabin roof when you need it. Teak hand rails surround the vessel and the v-berth roof makes great seating for cruising in the sunshine. You will fully enjoy the bow, which noses upward and offers your very own perch for a romantic sunset moment with your loved one.

 Engine and Mechanical:
For a 36-footer, you will be pleasantly surprised at the fuel efficiency of this tug. She is powered by her single 1986 Cummins/4BT 3.9 turbo diesel engine on it with a light 3,888 hours on it. She cruises at 7.5 knots at 1,850 rpm and has a top speed of 10 knots. Her steel fuel tanks hold 280 gallons of diesel. Utilizing approximately two gallons of fuel per hour, this gal has a lengthy range of 625 miles. She has Morse steering at the main helm. When you want to anchor, she has a 65-pound Forfjord 6 anchor on 400 feet of BBB galvanized chain connected to a Balmar electric foot-activated winch.

 Electrical and Electronics:
Fair Isle has had her electrical systems well maintained over the years with upgraded fairly recently. While at the dock, she plugs into 30-amp shore power. She has a newer Magnum battery charger and inverter, and her start battery and two AMG house batteries were all new in 2022. She also has newer Victron solar panels for power.
