REDUCED TO $99,9090! Juneau boat house available for extra. US BUILT TRAWLER, WALK AROUND DECK, WONDERFUL STERN STATEROOM! This is a beautiful, spacious grand ole girl that is picture perfect for cruising, entertaining guests or as a liveaboard. She is in very good shape and was built with a heavy, seaworthy commercial-grade hull. Her bottom was done in August 2022 and a copy of a survey is available for you to review. She has been stored in a Juneau boathouse so she shows very nicely. For those who appreciate a classic Ed Monk St., design, you know finding one of his larger boats on the market is a rare treat.

 Interior:
You can enter the main salon on Shearwater two ways: by the sliding hatch from the top of the aft cabin, or by the starboard and port sliding doors bringing you in from either side deck. The main salon is cloaked in beautiful golden teak wood which is really illuminated by the huge windows all around. This is quite a nice salon. The helm is on starboard with its comfortable pedestal swivel chair. Aft of it is a built-in component with a set of drawers and a Eutectic refrigerator and freezer. The top is a wonderfully large counterspace that nicely extends the u-shaped galley on port. There are a surprising number of drawers and more counterspace than you ll find on most vessels. Galley has a Dickinson range, a microwave, a deep double stainless-steel sink, and a fantastic view. Forward of the galley is an L-shaped dinette and beyond than another built-in with drawers and a bench seat. Down in the bow is a b-berth with two single bunks and drawer and locker storage. In the stern, Shearwater has a fabulous stern main stateroom with a full walk-around double berth and many, many drawers built into the walls, as well as closet storage. She has lots of large windows here, great window coverings and a door to the deck. A Dickinson Chesapeake oil heater in the aft cabin and there are electric registers throughout the boat. In all, Shearwater sleeps four adults quite comfortably in two staterooms. She has two heads with manual commodes. One head has a shower compartment. She has two holding tanks and a 300-gallon fresh water capacity. The hot water heater generously warms up 12 gallons at a time. The living spaces on this classic are very well-suited for long range cruising or living aboard. Come and see!

 On Deck:
Coming aboard Shearwater is by way of her swim deck and starboard side transom door or through the split in the side deck railing on either port or starboard. The aft deck is a nice size and unencumbered, with sides high enough to lean on while you cruise and enjoy the beauty around you. A couple of steps both on port and starboard take you to the wide side decks with high sides as well as railing all the way up to and around the bow This is great for the family with a dog or two. The bow has a lot of standing room and the v-berth cabin top makes for some nice seating. Accessing the middeck is by the ladder off the starboard side deck. This is where the skiff is stowed, which is deployed with a boom on a mechanical winch. She has a complete-walk around design, quite romantic, excellent for fishing, sightseeing, or watching the world pass by. She comes with a pot-puller and other accessories which come in quite handy. You will be extremely pleased with this deck!

 Engine and Mechanical:
She is powered by two 120 horsepower Perkins engines. One from 1978 and the other from 1991. They have 2,955 and 3,538 hours on them. She cruises at 7 knots at 1,400 rpm. Her four steel fuel tanks carry a generous total of 650 gallons of fuel and she utilizes an economical 3.5 gallons of fuel per hour, taking you on nice, long stretches between refuels. Anchoring is easy with her 60-pound CQR anchor on an Ideal electric winch with 30 feet of chain and 100 feet of line.

 Electrical and Electronics:
This trawler comes with an integrated Garmin SV system, including a depth sounder, GPS and plotter with Offshore Navigator charting software on an adjacent HP laptop. She has a Benmar CTrek 737 auto pilot. For communications, she has an ICOM radar. This boat is very well-rounded with accessories like electric wipers and more. Call and schedule your personal tour to learn about all her electrical systems and features which come with her.

 Notes and Extras:
Shearwater is one of many popular boats designed by Pacific Northwest renowned shipwright, naval architect and boat building book author Ed Monk, Sr. His yachts are known for being seaworthy, comfortable and beautiful boats that last decades with the proper care.
