We act as the seller’s agent and negotiate as an interested third party
in the sale of his/her boat.
We maintain an office and database which serves as a clearing house
for our many listings - and attracts buyers for that reason.
We maintain a Western Hemisphere toll free telephone line for inquiries.
We advertise locally, regionally & sometimes nationally - our ads
draw buyers from all over the western US, Canada and beyond.
We show the boat for the seller, based on potential buyer's time constraints
- i.e., at most any hour or day of the week.
We prepare & send mail outs, brochures, info sheets, emails, &
faxes at no cost.
We attract a wide range of buyers as a result of our many and diverse
listings.
We maintain a broad database of potential buyers in order to match up
a
buyer for your boat.
We network with others in the sale or purchase of your boat.
We do an organized follow-up on all inquiries.
We prequalify the buyer.
We do all the paperwork required, for both the seller and buyer.
We arrange for surveys, haul-outs as required by a lender, and coordinate
these with the seller.
We insure that all the bills resulting from survey, haulout, insurance
needs, etc. are paid, to protect the buyer and seller as well as ourselves.
We do a lien search to protect the buyer.
We research the market for the boat on behalf of the seller.
We help the buyer arrange financing if and as required.
We arrange for and participate in sea trials with the buyer and seller
if and as required.
We can arrange for insurance required by a lender.
We escrow the earnest money, deposits, and other monies as required
and dispense them as and when required.
We offer ancillary services such as documentation work, boatwatching
and care for absentee owners, etc.
And, we do not get paid unless we actually sell the boat!!
