SHARP-LOOKING, COMFORTABLE, LOTS OF UPGRADES! The Bayliner 2859 Ciera Classic is one of the more popular cruising boats in Alaska. With the large cockpit, this makes for a nice cruising vessel that you can also easily fish from, as well as a great cruiser for the family. The economical 5.7L engine and practical layout throughout Island Star gives this vessel great appeal, perfect for all types of customers who like to fish and enjoy extended time on the water. She has been kept very clean and is an all-over attractive boat at a very nice price.

From the cockpit, walk through the glass swing door and you are in the pilothouse/flybridge helm area. This area is a great extension of the deck or a great extension of the interior, whichever way you want to look at it. There is an outrageous 360-degree view from this space. The cushioned helm seat and a cushioned bench seat with cocktail table keeps everyone comfortable and chatty while the captain navigates toward the destination. Screened-in sliding windows on each side let in the spring and summer sea breezes. Down into the bow, the beautiful views continue with large windows creating a bright and warm interior living space. Immediately to starboard is the vessel head with a manual potty, large vanity sink, storage, and shower capabilities. Beyond the head closet is a small pantry and the petite, but functional galley with a deep single stainless steel sink and a two-burner Origo electric/alcohol stove. Cabinets and a storage tray along the wall provide plenty of places to tuck away dishes and food. Pressure water, a 35-gallon water tank, 20-gallon holding tank and six gallons of hot water serve your on-board water needs. The v-berth in the bow is extremely roomy and sleeps two adults quite comfortably. Or tuck to sleep three kiddos in this space. The port side plush cushioned dinette seats four and has a table large enough to stretch a sizable board game out on. At night, the dinette converts into a double berth. Nearby storage trays create perfect places to keep small items like a deck of cards or binoculars. The stereo controls are located right next to the table. The AC/DC refrigerator is tucked under one dinette seat. Aft of the dinette, a roomy amidships berth for two is located through a privacy door and past a hanging closet and is tucked under the pilothouse floor. Despite how it sounds, this berth is quite roomy both horizontally and vertically. The privacy door makes this a great berth for mom and dad. In the main cabin, window coverings add privacy when you need it. During chilly days, electric register heating keeps everyone toasty. During the warmer months, screened-in sliding windows allow fresh air to cool and circulate and makes for a comfortable cruise.

 On Deck:
Easily board Island Star whether she is on the trailer or at the dock. From her swim deck, a ladder lowers so you can come aboard while she is trailered. From the dock, the swim deck takes you to her transom door and into the cockpit. The deck space is large enough for a fishing party or for evening cocktails with friends. A deck fish hold is quite convenient when you ve found the hot spot for fishing. If you ve dropped some crab or shrimp pots on your way out, save your back by using the pot puller to lug up your bounty. The rear deck cover is especially nice -- whether you are fishing or lounging -- for keeping your noggin dry from a sudden cloud burst or a seagull surprise.

 Engine and Mechanical:
Island Star is powered by an economical 275 horsepower 5.7 Mercruiser gas engine with 95 (rebuilt) hours on it. She cruises at a comfortable 18 knots at 3,200 rpm and has a top speed of 24 knots. She carries a generous 102 gallons of fuel in her single aluminum tank so you can travel far between fueling. Bennett trim tabs keep her nose down and her fuel efficiency at its peak. When trolling is your desire or if you need back-up power, Island Star comes with a reliable 9.9 horsepower Honda kicker mounted at the stern. Thrust controls and steering are at the helm.

 Electrical and Electronics:
New electronics are positioned at the helm and include a Raymarine Hybrid Touch GPS and depth sounder and a Uniden VHF and CB. No helm would be complete without a compass and Island Star has a Ritchie Compass at the ready. She has a Pro Sport 8 battery charger, an alternator, and a 2018 start battery. Get the party hopping with dunes played through your JVC stereo system with Rockford Fosgate speakers located around the vessel. When docked, plug Island Star into 30 amp shore power for your electrical needs.

 Notes and Extras:
This excellent package comes with a Calkins galvanized dual axle trailer with hydraulic surge disc brakes, bunks, and with recent complete service.
