Originally drawn by Royal Lowell in the 1970s, the basic design of the 22 Sisu is arguably the most seaworthy ever for a small powerboat. Modern composite materials plus a couple of design tweaks have made her even better. The 22 Sisu is legendary among Downeast hulls. Sisu is a Finnish word that means stamina, fortitude, and guts, a very appropriate name for this model. Performance is strong with a 115-hp four-stroke outboard and this boat is known to ride through chop without pounding. In continuous production for more than thirty years, the Sisu 22 is a classic overachiever. Price listed is for the base unit. Call us for pricing on other engine options and extras.

 Interior:
The full hardtop pilothouse is a perfect option for scouting the inlets and seas of the Pacific Northwest. And you get a whole lotta boat in just 22 feet! The hardtop gives you and your family and friends some solid protection from unfavorable weather. Sliding side windows and front opening windows let in fresh air while keeping out the rain. The swivel helm pedestal seat and companion seat are cushioned and comfortable and the view over the bow is excellent. The helm dash has a lot of room to mount your favorite electronics. Behind the companion seat, you can add a small countertop with a generous sink and a refrigerator. Secure a microwave or a coffee maker onto the counter to satisfy your creature comforts. Through a weathertight opaque hatch into the bow is the v-berth cabin, which offers 6 foot, nine inch berths and nearly six feet of head room. A porta potty is concealed under the center cushion. Two opening ports let fresh air into the v-berth. A dockside pumpout is an available option. Besides using it as a sleeping area, the v-berth makes an excellent storage compartment or a place for your canine pals to hang out.

 On Deck:
The full walk around deck on this boat model means you can really work those fish out as you inch them closer to your boat. In the bow, the stainless steel railing comes standard and provides some safety measure when you are focused on fighting fish. If you need a break, the raised v-berth cabin roof can become a quick seating option. The cockpit is generously roomy and can accommodate a handful of fishing friends and family, a few folding chairs, or a portable livewell. Popular deck options include an anchor windlass, swim platform with fold down ladder, raw water washdown, under gunnel rod racks, rocket launchers, livewell with washdown in the seat box, outboard bracket, rocket launchers and more. She is highly customizable and extremely versatile.
