CUSTOM CRAFTED, CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED. Passagemaker magazine describes Sea Buggy as an unusual boat and will be amazing boaters. Built by Sound Craft in Washington, Sea Buggy is the brilliant combination of aluminum technology and innate comfort without sacrificing performance. No expense was spared in making sure that this 46 vessel could stand up to the most rigorous of conditions. Whether it s the Diamond Sea Glaze windows, deep v hull or state of the art electronics, Sea Buggy is the boat of a lifetime.

 Interior:
The interior of this vessel is an exercise in craftsmanship and true comfort. Rich wood finishes, spacious seating and storage options abound. The galley is handsomely outfitted with a Norcold DE 561 fridge /freezer, trash compactor, convection microwave, propane stove/ oven and a double deep stainless steel sink. Large expanses of formica on the countertops and table make cleaning a snap. The sizable windows shine on the wine glass rack above the built in shelves, and more than ample storage stows away the extra kitchen tools. A deep cushioned dinette flanks the spotless galley, and converts into a berth. Lower the blinds to enjoy the built in TV/DVD player. Traditionally styled berths provide plenty of room for guests, with hanging closets and drawers to keep things shipshape. The master stateroom has a double berth and teak details. Two large heads with full showers as well as Bosch washer and dryer add to the already opulent comfort of this boat. A 200-gallon water tank insures a virtually endless supply of water for your every need. Webasto Hydronic heating keeps things warm and cozy.

 Engine and Mechanical:
Sea Buggy was created with a deeper v and a flatter aft bottom to achieve a fast and stable well handling boat. But like any vessel, it is all about the engines. Commercially rated twin 450 hp Volvo series 74 diesels that have been well maintained and are in excellent condition power Sea Buggy. V drives with troll valves assist in keeping a consistent trolling speed. Each engine is also outfitted with Racor 1000 series fuel filters, on the port engine is a Floscan, starboard a Vickers V-10 power steering hydraulic pump. Oil and temperature alarms as well as portable fire extinguishers (4) and bilge pumps (9) provide additional safety. A 10 bow thruster assists in docking. A new insulted genset, 2 inverters and battery charger coupled with the large array of batteries keep Sea Buggy powered up and ready to go.

 Electrical and Electronics:
The helm in the pilothouse is a few steps up from the galley and salon area. It is exceptionally spacious and has various seating and lounging areas. The adjustable captain s chair faces the custom crafted teak helm filled with electronics. Survey the seas over the bow from this birds eye view while piloting this vessel using the Comnav 1001 with remote auto pilot, Virtual Navigator GPS, Lenova 22 computer screen plotter, SImrad Radar (color) and Furuno 295 and 585 depth sounder/fish finder. Reliable ICOM VHF (2) and a 7 remote search light and Richie compass complete the array of navigational tools. Enjoy one of two Kenwood 10 CD player/AM/FM Sirius stereos with interior and exterior speakers.

 Notes and Extras:
Passagemaker describes Sea Buggy s lines as having all the trademarks of a traditional cruiser: a high bow, a 25 horsepower bow thruster, a reverse raked windscreen, Portuguese bridge, side decks and an impressively raised pilothouse. She is without a doubt an impressive sight to behold. Walk around decks, anti skid decking, an oversized boarding platform and swim step, extra stout railings and a two part canvas rain fly speak to intelligent design for Alaskan weather and waters. The dingy is a sturdy Aqua Pro eleven foot 3 inch hard bottom with a 15 Hp Yamaha 4 stroke engine. A 1000LB deck crane lowers the dingy and other water craft into the water. Sea Buggy also has built in kayak racks. Anchoring in the best fishing spot is non problematic with the Muir hydraulic windlass. A Bruce main anchor and a fortress spare attach to the 20 fathoms 3/8 chain and 100 fathoms Samson braid line. Wash downs in both the bow and stern keep decking and gear freshly rinsed. 16-rod holders, hydraulic pot puller, fish cleaning table and a deep freezer are all part of the sport fishing adventure package. Pristine and well-appointed, Sea Buggy is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Not many vessels have the chops this one does, and with all the comforts one would expect from a larger yacht. Perfect for an enterprise in eco tourism, charter - a 2c fishing permit is available or personal use she is offered by her original owner and we at Alaska Boat Brokers are proud to represent this impressive vessel.
