REDUCED to $39,000! New to the market is this very economical Mainship trawler. Mainship trawlers were designed for comfortable coastal cruising, while not breaking the bank. The economical design and 165 HP Perkins turbo diesel engine move her along at around 8-9 knots while only burning 2-3 gallons per hour.
Interior:
Many boaters view the Mainship 34' as the perfect vessel for the cruising couple. Easily handled in and out of tight moorage, fairly easy to maintain and fairly affordable when it comes to trawler yachts of this size. The galley down layout of the interior results in a spacious salon and main helm area. To port, the serving counter looks down on the galley, but offers great views of the outdoors. The salon will be the main conversation lounge and also houses a convertible couch into a sleeper sofa for overnight guests. The kitchen is equipped with a two burner stove with oven, toaster oven, microwave, fridge and a Dickenson oil burning stove to heat the entire space. Forward you will find the bathroom and forward center line v-berth.
On Deck:
Shamrock is armed with 3 different outdoor spaces when you include the aft salon, large bow and flybridge area. The back deck is the perfect spot to organize your fishing gear and go after the big one. It has a hard top with side curtains for the foul weather days, and can easily convert to a sun deck when the weather permits. There is access to the trolling motor and the downriggers if catching a salmon is in the cards. All of these activities can be viewed from the flying bridge, but keeps the spectators out of the way when the fight is on. The bridge is equipped to run all the systems on the vessel when the sun comes out and offers the best view on the Shamrock. Additionally, the bow offers great views of the surroundings and will also double as a sundeck.
Engine and Mechanical:
Shamrock is powered by a single Perkins turbo charged 165 HP diesel engine with only 1,600 hours on her. She cruises very nicely between 8-9 knots while only burning 2-3 gallons per hour. WOW! She also comes with a very reliable 9.9 HP 4 stroke Yamaha kicker mounted to the swim step. This works great as a kicker motor, but also doubles as a get home motor if the need arises. This Mainship also has a Onan diesel generator that will run everything on board when at anchor or away from the dock so you don't have to worry about killing batteries. You can sleep well knowing your 34 pound Bruce anchor and chain system keeps you from moving during the night.
Electrical and Electronics:
Shamrock has every electronic option available to keep you and your family safe. She is armed with a Garmin unit that works as a GPS and sounder, a Raytheon radar, 2 VHF units and a very handy Comnav auto pilot to keep you on course. She also has a JVC surround sound stereo system and fold down starboard side television.

All in all, Shamrock could make the perfect inside passage cruising trawler style yacht for a couple or a growing family. She is priced right, and is very economical to cruise.
