Detroit Diesel 8V71for sale

This engine was reportedly rebuilt by Island Diesel of Juneau, Alaska in 2006. There are reported zero hours since overhaul. The mechanic was the Jimmy dealer in Juneau for many years. The inside of the motor was said to have been coated in Cosmoline prior to assembly. Set up for keel cooling. 3 available accessory drives plus the crankshaft pulleys. The starter has been removed from the engine.
