Alaska Boat Brokers Can do the paperwork for you!
We offer our expertise to help your sale close smoothly and efficiently in conjunction with or without the documentation of your vessel. We also work with boat sales between others outside of our brokerage.
Preferred Mortgage
We provide all of the necessary services to record a preferred mortgage on a documented vessel. This package includes: Coast Guard abstract of title, preparation of the mortgage, all necessary signatures.
Satisfaction of Mortgage
This package includes all the necessary services to prepare and file a satisfaction of mortgage with the U.S. Coast Guard.
Lien Clearance
We assist clients in obtaining payoff quotations, arrange the payoff, and obtain all necessary lien holder releases.
Trust Fund Account
Acting as a third party, we will hold funds in our Trust Account for buyers as assurance for sellers until released by the buyer at the close the sale.
Shipping Services
Shipping policy: All vessels, trailers or equipment sold by Alaska Boat Brokers are FOB point of sale unless described otherwise. It is the buyer's responsibility to arrange and pay for shipment or delivery to other locations. Our company is experienced and has connections to expedite shipping and can provide shipping services if requested as follows:
Alaska Boat Brokers will arrange for shipment or delivery at actual costs plus 15% handling fee. (the 15% fee is not charged to customers who purchase boats through Alaska Boat Brokers). Customers will be provided an estimate/invoice to be paid in advance of shipping. Charges will be adjusted once actual costs are received and supplemental invoice or credit issued as appropriate.
We are equipped to provide ancillary services for customers who require them, as follows:
Pick up and delivery of boat already on trailer: $80 one way.
Pickup and ramp launch of boat already on trailer: $100.
Ramp retrieval of boat onto trailer provided by owner, and deliver up to 30 miles: $125.
